My name is Helena, and I am a high school student at St. Francis. In August, I am leaving for a year long exchange to Switzerland, where I will be staying in the capital city, Bern. I will be attending Gymnasium Hofwil, and will be living with several different host families over the duration of my exchange.
Switzerland has four main languages; German (which I will be learning), French, Italian and Romansh. There are currently nearly 8 million people living in Switzerland, and the country has an area of 41,285 km2.
